El Safareig, és el lloc, espai o construcció on es renta la roba, també és com popularment es diu el fet d'enraonar o comentar alguna cosa o fet públicament, en relació amb l'espai on antigament es feia la bugada i complia la funció social de compartir des de la paraula.

En aquesta peça treballada a partir de la superposició de retalls de roba a manera de collage tèxtil he volgut relacionar l'acció de compartir safareigs amb el treball manual de la confecció i superposició de capes de teixit. Cosir com a acció comunitària i de cures entre nosaltres.

The Laundry, is the place, space or building where clothes are washed, it is also popularly said to reason or comment on something or done publicly, in relation to the space where laundry used to be done and fulfilled the social function of sharing from the word.

 

In this piece worked from the superposition of pieces of clothing as a textile collage I wanted to relate the action of sharing laundry with the manual work of making and superimposing layers of fabric. Sewing as a community and care action between us.
